HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR
IN THE YEAR OF THE RABBIT!
The Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association (CCBA) organized and hosted the Chinese Lunar New Year Parade
in partnership with Mayor Muriel Bowser and The Mayor's Office on Asian and Pacific Islander Affairs (MOAPIA)
on Sunday, January, 22, 2023. It was a successful and wonderful parade.
Thank you to all the parade participants and volunteers, as well as the fans for coming out and joining us in the celebrations.

January 19, 2023 - CCBA Parade Commander Rita Lee and MOAPIA Director Ben de Guzman were featured in a TV morning show "Great Day Washington" at WUSA9. They were interviewed to discuss the 2023 Lunar New Year parade in Chinatown on Sunday, January 22nd at 2pm. The Chinese Youth Club (CYC) performed a short routine by (instruments) Wally Lee, Jack Lee, Kevin Lee, and Eddie Moy & (lion) Kaison Wu and Mitchell Yam.
